great analysis because valuing a stock is always subjective; a little bit like judging a work of art. and then there's no such thing as fair value anyway because it always what the market will pay on any given day which adds the whole perspective of TA to any fundamental analysis. myself, i like A because in one solid company i get leadership in three areas that i believe will grow dramatically over thext few years: fiber optics; communications; bioinformatics (DNA arrays etc.). i saw one bloomberg story today which quoted an analyst saying A is cheap because it sells at about 1.2 x current sales.
