availability is not that great either. While 500K is not bad for this quarter you should remember that intel raised the production expectations to such a degree that some were talking of millions (plural) for the christmas season.

The only thing that seems right about the P4 launch is the availability (it's understandable... they had an extra month to set things up)

I have not seen any motherboards on Price Watch. Once P4 sells first wave of P4s and sucks up all the RDRAM, new problems with RDRAM availability may show up.
