I hate to be so honest but i would have more faith in gold if you found it appealing rather than Kaplan. I know the banks are going to have more than a few bad loans thanks to the net origin non profit and dominoes. I know property is too high here is S. CA. I know food costs are not going to drop.

Alex so kindly provided us with research on employment which appears to be easing from last year. I also know the part of service industry extends it self due to contraction in other areas and heavy sub contracting there of.

I also read today a report on the MB thread that defied addition.

I also know that when I talk to average people that are trying to become above average they are thinking in cash is king mode. When this is the prevailing attitude the consequence is no growth as money that is available is held for use at a later date.

As of yet i don't see any question on the dollars strength elsewhere. If this occurs i firmly believe gold will move as fast as the dot coms did . I suppose if the Florida vote issue isn't settled rapidly there will be questions.

Thank you for the help.

The Question for me is not if my most recent investments in Gold Mining shares will surge but when they will begin to do so. The Window of Opportunity is here. That is all I know and I will add on all weakness. I don't buy into the GATA superficial manipulative argument. And this is coming from someone who personally likes and has derived a lot more pleasure, profit and productivity in his life from high tech than Gold. My point being that I don't invest or trade based on my personal likes or dislikes, but on logical economic fundamentals. I'm no big MO player. I'll let those big MO boys push up the value of my investment to my targets and then sell. Gold is neither good nor evil. It is a Currency that has its place in the economic scheme of things. It's Time is coming and I'm in now.

Opportunity, like Life, comes into being and passes away. To seize the opportunity, to take hold of the Moment, is what Life is all about.
