SOES as far as I know is an automated system. The confirm should have been routed promptly. That it never got to you is certainly a failing of either IB or the MM or the Nasdaq System.

I'd bust their chops about it, but since we signed our lives away when opening the account (wasn't there something about firstborn in there?), you may not have any legal recourse.

"but it didn't sound like it was the same day as after EOD reconciliation."

His trade was Friday and he received the report today. Precisely the same situation as mine, that is, I was notified of the trade the next business day.

Since for me it was like finding a $1000 bill, I didn't pursue it.

IB busted one of my trades that I messed up when I was still learning the system. They actually called me and volunteered to appeal it to INCA as clearly erroneous.
