Katherine Harris's instructions followed the law...and when read correctly clearly stated that the military ballots did not have to be postmarked by election day...a letter was sent out to the canvassing boards from one of the Democrat lawyers advising the canvassing boards in the democratic counties how to reinterpret the law to get military ballots thrown out...disgusting misuse of power.

Why did Kathryn Harris try to keep the military from voting by insisting on the letter of the law that the ballots had to be postmarked by election day? Why did the Democrats get blamed when the instructions came from Kathryn Harris?

Because the Republicans went into a frenzy before getting all the facts.

And what is worse is that the Republican Party itself knew where the instructions came from but did nothing publicly to correct the misperception.
