Well, we still need a capitulation sell-off to indicate a market bottom. And we ain't there yet. Still too many people looking for buying opportunities.

Read today in the WSJ that folks are starting to go bullish on MSFT, selling Jan70 puts at $11 bucks while we're right smack dab in the middle of this election crap.

And I have a sneaking suspicion that these bone-headed Florida supreme court justices are going to let this manure recount thing go on through Dec 12th. (and that was an intentional freudian slip, btw).

We have to remember that many folks have been on margin since Oct, 1998 thinking they were safe and sound in their positions. And I have a suspicion that they may be getting close to finding out otherwise...

A whole lot of systemic stress is about to be inflicted on the global financial system... That is, unless the Fed backs off.

See that gap from Oct, 1998 on the COMPX? There's an old rule in the market relayed to me by analysts far more sage than I...

"All gaps will eventually be filled".

Also know as "Nature abhors a vacuum".
