Vol - Tuesday is ususally the day that Mr Hope reserves to get all the longs convinced that the market has turned. Mr Hope does a great job convincing them that nows the time to get back in and he sends the shorts out ot play golf and we get a nice rally.

JUst wait till Wednesday though back it all goes. Just like sick old gambling addicts at Las Vegas. The house gets it all back. And then we get Thu, Fri and Monday and you're donw another 300 or so points on the NAZ. Thats how we got here from 5,000.

Best regards,

L

Vol - Beware the Corporate Bond Market. We are seeing an increasing number of references now to 2,100 on the NAZ.

Not really surprising as the NAZ was well below 2,000 in late 1998 when the economy was booming. Now it is heading for a brick wall what on earth is it doing higher than in 1997 when we heard about "Irrational Exhuberance"?

It is simply unsustainable unless Mr G takes the brakes off. He procved his point and now he should ease up before there is a real disaster. And if you want to know what that disaster will look like check out the Coroporate Bond Market.

Best regards,

L

Dear Voltaire:

Enjoy your posts and love reading the thread. Find it incredibly interesting to watch how different characters act in face of adversity!!! Which we all are experiencing. Ooooch!!
Your demeanor reminds me of Kevin Landis out of Silicon Valley- cool, calm, and collected.
Would love to pick your brain on Rambus. Followed it for a couple of years and finally pick up shares recently. However, what is your opinion on the Dec 7th decision?? are you reserving cash incase there is a sell off [or the typical daily downgrade!!] or is your intuition telling you it will be the beginning of a explosion!!!
Thank you
English Karen.

Vol - Tuesday is golf day for the shorts. Should be a bit of light relief hopefully.

ACtually I think that Mr Gore is preparing to concede. The recounts don't seem ot be providing the necessary numbers to put him ahead and unless the Florida supreme Court order a revote in all or some areas his hopes must be diminshing and he will be advised to give in with and he will collect substantial public goodwill for having for a very good fight on behalf of both himself and the majority of the people who voted for him.

I think we are just seeing that process beginning now.

Best regards,

L
