still, 80% buys on the Ameritrade index is not particularly encouraging. that said, a market as oversold as this one can bounce at any moment, so it's not totally whacky. it sure was a whole lot whackier to buy it in March for instance. i'm also re-directing some of my put profits into individual issues i like...on the theory that i won't be able to catch THE bottom anyway, so i might as well buy what seems reasonably priced now for the inevitable re-bound. any rebound without prior capitulation is however not trustworthy imo...beyond a day or two...
