If a person refrained from buying after the 1929 crash, and averaged in in 1931 thru 1935 and then could and averaged in in 1931 thru 1935 and then could hold a long through the sputtering false recoveries, through the war and into the baby boom, a fortune was made.

Not easy.

You are referring to the Kennedy's and Rockefellow's I take it? Yes, they made great fortunes following that formula and spent it accumulating political fortunes in our time. Of course, Joe Kennedy had the upper hand writing the rules. And Anthony thinks rules are for the newbies to be taken in our time. Ha! Those on the top of the tree have always had the best vines to swing on. I have the most fascinating stories to tell you about the Rockefellow family from personal accounts. On the whole, I like them in way more bazaar than the Kennedy cousins. They are actually far more interesting. As a DEM you would like them also, I believe.

Peter, you are my favorite Monkee. You are old enough to understand that. -ggg-

I feel like Dorthy in the Wizard Of Oz speaking to the scarecrow. "I miss you most" you big hunk of straw! blush
