Blodget-like fuzzy math based on eyeballs

He's become something of a reducio ad absurdum, these days, hasn't he?

Here's the thing: Blodget is getting reamed because his picks went down in a year. Mark Mobius' lineup have been fizzling since 1994 and he's still Master of The Universe.

According to this, B's 1998 picks were AOL, Yahoo, Excite, Lycos, and Infoseek. All portals:

I'd like to know what you think are good stocks and why.

I look to buy quality at a good price and hold it tight. I have no problem missing some really great companies because I'm very much afraid of the bad ones.
