Hutcho if i were to asko how in blazes do i take a quick course in commodity trading, like currency? An url please from anyone.

I feel the US dollar is very overvalued or lacks purchasing power one or the other. 48 percent of children in calif families a family of four is living on less than 42,000 per year yet, excluding turkey that at this time of year is being given away (our Thanks Giving) our food costs are very high our property has escalated and labor is hard to come by. The problem escalates when you realize in that family of four both parents are working and the national average is about 50 some odd thousand for a family of four.

The figures and percentages clearly show our state as being two tier.

I don't know how to compare this to Canada but this is is like saying 48 percent of the children in Calif are living in skunk hollow a poverty ridden area in Hope BC. The difference is in skunk hollow the skunks were black white and had fur, here they tend to walk on two legs. Poverty in a smaller community has less hazards than in a large one just skunks and much cheaper accommodations.

Back to gold excuse me i just get so upset.

Hutch,

One person's "Irrelevant" may be another's question or answer.

But that kind of talk is irrelevant here on this gold thread.

The stuff of usefullness to obtain a gain or lost
has as example your comments, as follows.

Time to short the USD versus CAD long... Euro neutral.
Avoid YEN xtrades.
Suggest you all look at the CAD Bond trade versus US Bond trades.
The pressure for the CAD is to 68.00 short term. 74.00 longer.
Hutch

Then there is this stuff,
good if one wishes to re-fresh
that old stale air inside their car tires.

I would distinguish the "they" self
of everyday humans
with the Genuine Self,
that is,
from the Self which has grasped itself
in its own unique way. RareBird

(off topic)

Most likely will not be showned if usa prez stuff gets breaking news,
the following.

t.v. 10 p.m. boston, usa
Dateline NBC
A report on financier Edmond Safra's death.

But I'm not sure if this was that man reported to have died
in that fire at his residence last year, where GATA rumors
placed him on a possible gold corruption arena.

One of the crucial questions moving forward here is what kind of Bear Market will this develop into? Deeply Cyclical? Or, Secular? If this bear turns into a secular one, I think the POG could move a lot higher than $350-$375. One of the ingredients for a secular Bear seems to be in place: lack of faith in the principles of gov't here. Furthermore, the hard landing that is coming looks to be more severe than many have imagined. I do not think a 75 point discount rate reduction will be enough to put this economy back on the path of growth. There have been such incredible excesses that have developed over the past few years. Massive Tax cuts would be needed to straighten out the economic situation here.
