TOKYO, Nov 21 (Reuters) - The following are some of the main factors likely to affect Tokyo stocks on Tuesday.

Share prices are seen set for a heavy beating, with Japanese Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori's survival of a no-confidence motion failing to quell speculation his days were numbered and disappointing some investors who had hoped for change.

The U.S. Nasdaq composite index's (^IXIC - news) five percent slump to its lowest close in more than a year would also send large-cap technology stocks such keeling, traders said.

``Now that Mori's staying, the supplementary budget should be passed quite quickly, but on the whole it's quite a disaster,'' said Masatoshi Sato, manager of equities at Mizuho Investors Securities.

``It doesn't change the fact that the ruling party's slowly falling apart and, with the reformist side backing out from their challenge, there doesn't seem to be much hope left for Japan.''

The Mideast situation grows worse by the day. Egypt is pivotal and they are getting pissed now. This will not play out well, particularly with America castrated by the election gridlock. Got oil?
