atml, rmbs, and qcom have been under accumulation. not really indicative of basing, and in real time the process is slow.

I have noticed that the low PE semiconductor industry stocks have held up very well lately. Any stock in this industry with a low PE along with a good growth rate has held up.

Look at Micron and AMAT; both gave negative outlooks but the stocks did not drop. All kinds of negative comments from analysts and still the stocks are not dropping unlike what happens to stocks like JNPR when they get downgraded. It basically tells you where your money is safer and any growth rate in the value techs is a big bonus.

re: basing is more a linear observation of a stock trading in a fairly narrow range, building support as buyers/sellers are close to the mid point. when one side gives out and the supply/demand becomes skewed you will get a breakout of the range be it up or down

Ooooh ed music to my ears, I see many long bases being built. By the way that was fine easy to understand post. I have booked market it to show others down the road.

edamo,

I will have to study very hard to understand as easily as Greg did (with the music he heard in your words.)

You heard the tone of the market in mar/apr 2K. What a gift.

Thank you for your input.

Creator/Spirit allow me to hear the music & tones.
