There is absolutely no reason to worry. "for it is shown that everything is for the best." and "we live in the best of all possible worlds." <g> Pangloss

Voltaire,

There is currently plenty of overhead resistance in the Nasdaq and the sentiment in the market has changed (your Psychology). To expect at least a 1000 point gain in the Nasdaq before January 2001 seems overly zealous: that's almost a 35% gain in the Nasdaq in less than two months.

Unless you expect Uncle Al to cut interest rates and inject liquidity into this in their December meeting, I wouldn't expect a miracle right now. This is just my humble opinion, of course.

Regards,

Even worse the Greedy Houses, playing their normal time of the year games began a series of BUYING MOTIVATED DOWNGRADES that have understandably backfired as a result of the Election Crap. Well, after surveying the Landscape of Opportunity and unable to rectify miscalculated
actions they simply decided to take advantage of said miscalculation and downgrade REMAINING sectors during
this Stagnant Election environment.

You sure got that right! I think SEC should eliminate upgrades and downgrades and price targets since the brokerage houses manipulate the markets with these methods.
