Just a little follow up. I had mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I thought my bios was gone cause I wasn't getting any bootup screen. Well after having just receiving my new bios chip from abit and reinstalling it the computer still did not bootup. I have tried replacing everything in the computer short of the power supply and the motherboard. I don't have the tools to do diagnostics on each of those components so I am going to send it to a work associate who does this stuff for a living. Hopefully he can help me so that I can get off this compaq 486 dinosaurs of a computer I'm using now.

Cheers

Stephen
