IBR Launches Retail Line Of Organic Fertilizer Products

International Bio-Recovery Corp IBR

Shares issued 14,287,511

2000-11-21 close $2.8

Wednesday Nov 22 2000 News Release

Mr. Ben Van Dyk reports

International Bio-Recovery Corporation has confirmed the successful launch of a new line of high performance fertilizer products under the trademark FRENZ.

In addition to the aggressive product development underway for commercial growers in food production, IBR has developed the FRENZ '99 line of fertilizer products to address the growing needs of the home gardener, with earth friendly products for fruits and vegetables, as well as flowering plants.

The Canadian household retail garden supply market is estimated at $2.6-billion annually and is growing 16 per cent per year.

This is expected to increase to 31 per cent per year by 2020, as a reflection of the ageing boomer population.

$330-million of this market is spent directly on fertilizers and soil conditioners and is growing 28 per cent annually.

FRENZ products are scheduled to hit retail home and garden stores in Canada and the U.S. in Spring 2001.

IBR confirms that agreements have been signed with
strategic marketing partners to begin effective distribution as follows:

Koval Marketing Associates

8 regional offices covering the western United States serving corporate retail accounts.

Fore-Tenn Marketing Ltd.

8 regional offices throughout Canada serving corporate retail accounts.

Eddi's Wholesale Garden Supplies Ltd.

Distributors to independent nursery retailers in B.C., Washington and Oregon.

Zoel Wholesale Garden Supplies

Distributors to independent nursery retailers on Vancouver Island.

The Company is continuing in its efforts to sign regional distribution agreements for FRENZ in western Washington and Oregon.

IBR has committed further marketing resources in the hiring of David Ingram as product manager for FRENZ fertilizer. Mr. Ingram brings a wealth of wholesale distribution experience and will report to Larry Les, director of marketing, fertilizer and feed products.

IBR is currently engaged in exciting new initiatives for the development of the company's products. Notably, Peter Jurkemik, IBR's agronomist, and Dr. Fahimeh Mirminachi, together with the marketing team have begun to successfully develop specialized product knowledge and through scientific research identify unique biological characteristics and applications.

IBR has completed trials with commercial growers, nurseries and greenhouses to develop products that build healthy soil, improve water retention, minimize disease, reduce leaching of nutrients and develop healthy roots.

The FRENZ fertilizer launch is a result of trials conducted in part at Pan American Nursery Products Ltd. Pan Am, with locations in BC, Ontario and Oregon, specializes in roses and other flowering plants and is a major supplier of live plants to big box retailers in Canada and the United States.

Derived from the biological engineering that is an integral part of IBR's proprietary enhanced ATAD process, these scientifically formulated products consistently deliver superior performance.

Most synthetically produced fertilizers rapidly leach through the soil profile. FRENZ technology prevents leaching and optimizes nutrient uptake over time resulting in healthier soil and essential nutrition for growing plants.

FRENZ has incorporated the immediate and proven benefits of chemical fertilizers with biological activators to provide optimal plant health and growth response.

FRENZ represents an additional revenue stream to augment the revenues from the sales of commercial agricultural fertilizer products.

In pursuing retail distribution, the company expects to broaden public awareness for the company and its fertilizer products, while at the same time increasing the demand for its unique biotechnology.

Applying biotechnology and fermentation engineering principles, and providing the optimal environment for naturally occurring thermophilic bacteria, IBR is able to produce specific biological ingredients with a wide array of commercial applications.

IBR products are well below the limits for heavy metals and vector attraction set by Canadian Standards and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for fertilizer.

Process control allows for the production of customized products for a variety of applications 365 days per year.

Do you know the status of Detroit?

Hi,

Detroit has not been mentioned lately, just the hype about Firmaplus.

Here is an article that might interest you though.

Regards,

Cayman

Could you or anyone find a link to the following newspaper article? I can’t seem to locate the elaborate tidbit…

It contains nine Perk pictures of the (Wind Breaking) in Detroit. This would be interesting for some as they could plant a name on the kissers present.

Yes, Uncle René is in a few…

News – The Michigan Chronicle – July 26 – August 1, 2000 – Page B-7:

Editorial:

Thermo Tech Breaks Ground For The Detroit Plant

Thermo Tech Technologies, a leading Canadian environmental and organic waste recycling company, held its official groundbreaking ceremony for the Detroit Thermo Master Mark III plant on July 5. The Thermo Master Mark III Plant is the first of it’s kind to be built in the United States. The site location is 1601 East Grand Blvd.

Among the dignitaries invited to attend were Congressman John Conyers Jr., Congresswoman Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick, City Council President Gil Hill, Council members Brenda Scott and Kenneth Cockrell Jr., Environmentalist Dick Gregory and the Rev. Jesse Jackson, president of Rainbow PUSH.

Thermo Tech Technologies is an environmental company. In addition to bringing its newest Thermo Master Mark III technology to Detroit, it has recently established its U. S. corporate office in Detroit.

The Detroit Thermo Master project is expected to bring a least 100 new jobs to the area and is committed to recruiting minorities.

Thermo Tech plans to open 50 plants throughout the U. S.

In North America alone, more than 100 million tons of wet waste are disposed of in landfills each year which take up valuable land space, produce foul odors and methane gases that contaminate the air and groundwater. Utilizing the Thermo Tech technology process will drastically reduce the amount of organic waste in landfills and sewage sludge dumped into the river. Thermo Tech has developed and patented an innovative, odorless thermophilic process that is utilized in compact and environmentally friendly Thermo Master plants to rapidly convert biodegradable food waste into high protein animal feed and wastewater treatment sludges into fertilizer concentrate.

Thermo Tech is an international company with offices in Toronto, Ontario and additional ventures in Europe and Asia. For more information visit the web-site at www.ttrif.com.

Thermo Tech Facts:

Thermo Tech Technologies is a leading Canadian environmental and organic waste recycling company with the only patented process in the world for converting food waste and sewer sludge into high value end product. This patented process is recognized the world over as the most effective and economically attractive solution to the world’s environmental crises in the disposal of wet organic wastes.

The development of the Thermo Master Mark III plant in Detroit is the first of this kind to be built. At least 50 plants are planned for the United States, including in the cities of Warren, Saginaw and Grand Rapids in addition to Washington D. C. Tampa and Houston.

The U. S. corporate headquarters is also housed in Detroit. Each plant will cost approximately $25 Million to build and will create at least 100 new jobs.

The company recently hired an African American as the project manager for the U. S. corporate office.

From Raging Bull Posts #46405 and 46480:

RB_is_Great Doodled This Excerpt:

"As a special note to those who have shown criticism of Mr. Branconnier, when all of his work finally proves to be 100% successful, I'm sure their will be no hard feelings. Mr. Branconnier is above that. You all will be welcomed with open arms back to the Thermo Tech fold."

Maestro Witty Comeback:

Dearest René,

Does the above novel writing include Cayman? Will she actually be received warmly when TTRIF hits that $100.00 per share blaze? That will be something to see … hope everyone attends this forthcoming Gala.

Since forgiveness is on the menu … will Thermo Tech be empowering any more derogatory letters to Cayman’s employer? Although, the last one did bring many laughs … plus made for a fun conversation piece.

I don’t want to sound picky surrounding your (Poetry In Motion) but in order to be a famous Playwright you must check your (choice of scrawl) before posting. Kindly use vigilance…

1. Please consider (I am) instead of I’m … for a formal document.

2. In addition, (their) is possessive and (there) as in yonder. Consequently, the phrasing (I'm sure their will be no hard feelings) is unacceptable … so sorry.

Lastly, here is a little Bible Tale (for you) expressing my most heartfelt thoughts.

Sincerely,

Cayman

Scripture Story

God Created Woman. And She was Good.

And she had two arms, two legs and three breasts.

And God asked woman what she would like to have changed about Herself.

And she asked for her middle breast to be removed.

And it was good.

She stood with her third breast in hand and asked God what should be done with the useless B O O B...

...and God created René.

Ms. Cayman..in order to be a famous Playwright

I sit here, head bowed and
a crimson blush emitting a glow,
fueled by praises from
a distant foe

Just kidding Ms. Cayman. Thank-you for the little scripture lesson. Mr. Branconnier had a chuckle from that and my feeling is a chuckle is roaring through the solar mist from a higher power.

Will you be received warmly?

Ms. Cayman, when the Thermo Tech stock reaches not $100 per share, not $50, or even $20, but $10 per share, I personally will throw a thick steak on the barbecue and serve you with cooks apron and hat. If Mr. Branconnier is free from his busy schedule, I will ask that he pour you a glass of chilled red wine as you gobble down the feast.

We will fellowship together as associates and investors in a thriving, growing industry meeting a growing world demand.

If that day is as sunny and bright as it has been this week on the Branconnier estate, I will tenderly take you by the hand and lead you to the imposing view from the great man's new solarium and let you stand in awe at the beautiful and wonderous view of the great Fraser Valley.

Mr. Branconnier may be Canadian, but he values his relationship with his southern neighbours. Having a southern bell at his home would be an honour. Perhaps you could find a place in his network of companies, devoted to bettering the lot of mankind.

You have a certain wit and tenaciousness which could be put to worthwhile work, under proper direction, for everyones' benefit.

I would personally recommend such to the great man himself.

For everyone, please watch your investment dollars, make sure of the companies value and then wisely make your decisions of buying large quantities of Thermo Tech. When the $10 is reached and continuing to climb, pour a glass for yourself.
