It's a beautiful place. I always felt I was in the land 1,000,000 Bc whenever I was there (No Rachael Welch :()

We used to eat at this cool catfish place on the lake. I can't remember the name. A buddy of mine from Marshall had a place on one of the small, private bass catchin lakes. Fern Lake it was called. We'd pull in 10 lb largemouth as a rule.THen we'd release them....DOH!!!! I never thought I would one day be longing for one of those on the wall..not realizing that I had indeed caught the biggest bass I would ever land. Ah..to be young and feel that a 12-15 pounder was in my future<g>
