A lot of that has to do with the management of company. A company can have the best darn technology on the planet and do well for a few years, but if management can't execute, then they will past by others that can as they hit the wall.

Greg, I think that is THE reason why the other companies just don't/can't and won't do what NTAP can and does do. You've answered you're own question.
And yes I agree with you on ORCL.
As far as NTAP's management is concerned, since last october when I got in I have not seen a single mistake from them or a let down as far as being an investor. Any disappointment or let down has been solely in Mr Market's Mind.

GM, for gosh sakes do some damn research. You have been around the G/K thread and this thread for years and you are now goint to "take a few more quarters to see how they run it before I will be able to have an opinion."

(No wonder you change your mind all the time about NTAP's stock price. You haven't done the dd!)

Look at the quarterly reports. Read this thread. Look at www.netapp.com.

Whatever you do, do NOT rely on my answers to your questions to make an investment decision.

What does ORCL's mgt have to do with NTAP? There is only one LE.
