When a company does $8B/Qtr, a $100M contract especially if it's spread over multiple years isn't much more than a rounding error for that company.

Agree with your key point that these contracts are often the start of something much bigger.

Impressive start to the Investor conference.

Slide 13 in Dunn's presentation is also of interest given that NT consistently advises that it will grow faster than the market.

The CAGR for 2000 to 2003 is estimated at:


Intercity Optical: 35-40%
Local Internet 30-35%
Internet Wireless 20-25%.


Given NT's growing share in these areas, it becomes readily apparent to even the most bearish that NT's current guidance for 2001 is totally conservative.
