No where were the rules posted as to what would invalidate my ballot. I checked the voter information packet and the rules were not there either.

I guess they were giving the average person more credit than they deserved. <G>

OT Re <the punched ballot you used>

Closeup videos of the punched ballots being hand counted appear to me to be MACHINE punched ballots, such as the kind used by old mainframe computers in the late 1950's/60's. The punched holes are rectangular and spread horizontally(as well as vertically) across the punch card. My impression of the hand punched ballot used by voters is that the punched holes would be aligned only vertically.

How did the punched holes line up on the ballot you used?
Did your chads have a rectangular shape?
