S. Ct. spokesman now standing in front of cameras saying no decision, no timetable, no nothing, Justices have been across the street today at a ceremonial occasion (swearing in of their antagonists, FL legislature).

Looks like the FL S.Ct. is going to just let time be Gore's friend, as the re-classifications continue without decision, dimples are manufactured and counted, and Dec. 12 approaches without certification.

<Edit>:

In the past, ballots were marked with pencils, and re-counters were caught with pencil leads under their fingernails. I wonder whether the re-counters' fingernails are being checked to see whether they're filed to a sharp point, or whether they're hiding pointed objects under them. Also, any sharp rings, watches, bracelets, and jewelry should be removed before getting anywhere near the ballots.
