From your linked article:

"We're very concerned that Miami-Dade seems to be a
manufacturing town, a vote-manufacturing town," said Rep.
John Sweeney, a Republican from upstate New York on
hand as an observer.

"This board is showing that it's predisposed to lean heavily
toward the Democrats and apparently is lacking all
objectivity."

We need about a thousand more statements like this one from Republicans. They should be quoted in every paper, TV show and talk show. This will set the table for Katherine Harris to defy the Supreme Court and throw the elector selection to the Florida Legislature.

Kind of a good reason to just pull out and let them have it.

Also a pretty good reason why the hand count is not accurate.

The more they do this, the more Gore loses in public opinion.
