The only reason that the case is at the supreme court is that the circumstance is unprecedented and the laws are unclear and in conflict. Actually I disagree with this. The law is quite clear and quite specific, and specifies a 7 day time limit. The problem is that some people don't think that the law is "fair", and they think that the law should be overturned. Like you I have an opinion as to whether or not the law should be upheld, but let's not mis-frame the question. Carl
