Yes, he was. He was part of a radical faction of the Irgun, which was already considered to be radical by the Haggunah, which was the regular para- military force of the Zionists, and formed the basis of their Army after independence. He participated in the bombing of the King David Hotel, which had a lot of British officials, mainly military officers, in an attempt to force the British to loosen emigration restriction so that more displaced Jews from Europe could enter Palestine. Of course, there is terrorism and there is terrorism. This was not aimed at civilians, per se. Anyway, the only reason I mention that some Palestinian terrorists have been Christian is to note that Palestinian, and even Arab, nationalism is distinct from Islam, and there are various permutations of militancy..........
