Its my understanding that the FL re-count started with no standards on the counting of chads. Someone posted the law in Texas and it clearly states that for a card to be counted:

1. Two corners of the chad must be detached from the card.
2. Light must shine through the hole.

And this is from the law. Dimpled chads would not be counted in Texas.

No, not so. The Texas law has been posted here--no detachment is needed.
