This decline is based on market paranoia. Everything so depressed that they jump ship to another tech/value play as soon as any news comes out. Earnings are good--sell; earnings are bad--sell; new cfo sell; wilf is sick; sell; wilf is healthy--sell. Oracle did the same thing on friday. People come and go. Not often is that critical or a signal of dire developments. The guy at orcl became a ceo at veritas.

Addi: John Daane struck me as an enormously capable man who needed some seasoning. I think that for him to gain some experience as a CEO will be beneficial to him in his future endeavors, which may include a return to LSI. As long as Wilf's health holds out, LSI will do well. And at current valuations, LSI is selling at historic lows. It is a tremendous buy at these levels. As is LU, as are others.
