I doubt that Dell is shipping 840 boards there, though. I just checked at dell.com, the XPS B series is listed as 820 based. Sort of a lonely holdout on that front, I imagine.

Thanks for the correction. I was under the impression that everybody discontinued 820, but apparently not.

The mainstream 840 board, the OR840, is likely going to continue to be more expensive than P4 boards; the lowest I've seen the OR840 for is $300.

I wonder why that is. Low volume of 840?
