<<So you were insulting Republican voters and mocking them with that remark. I just wanted to be sure that I understood your remark>>

You didn't!....... And don't!

Ok, Pezz: I didn't understand what you meant by this:

"no matter it would be unthinkable to switch to Bush given the clear difference between the two policy wise...........I ain't that shallow!."

Thanks for clearing it up! I didn't realize that you were making the point that the act of changing your mind after a bitter controversy is "shallow." Of course, I get your point. It is always "shallow" to embrace different opinions or beliefs as we journey through life. Your point is not that acknowledging some value in some Republican beliefs or values is "shallow", but merely that embracing any new beliefs is shallow. Switching from Democrat to any set of beliefs that came along, even if Jesus formed a political party...this would be "shallow." It is not that Republican beliefs are "shallow."; It is changing ones beliefs that makes one "shallow."

I admit I was confused, so I am glad I asked you. Well said. I hope the waves are giving you a good workout at the beach. Love the beach, myself!
