ben, agreed. i'll add from my experience that things i thought were very bad were very good and things i thought were very good were very bad ;-) also, i use microeconomics to great advantage, the concepts of sunk cost and marginal benefit vs marginal cost provide an awsome perspective when dealing with people. folks who constantly focus on sunk costs and don't understand they need to focus on marginal benefit and marginal cost have been difficult to deal with in my life.
