then there MIGHT be a possible appeal to the US Supreme Court IF and ONLY IF a federal or constitutional issue is involved.

Would changing the rules of an election after the vote constitute such an issue. I would hope that our constitution provides for fair and open elections and that a state could not supercede.

Sounds like plain English to me - thanks. Problem is this administration's "interpretation", as usual. How can we get justice when they can arbitrarily choose how to interpret anything till it fits their needs. Guess I missed my ballot question on whether we wanted to abandon the constitution and democracy as we've lived it.

Wonder how we'd do if we held the entire election over at this point - with one vote per soc sec #...
