John:

An individual has an unlimited capital loss carryforward period (corporation 5 years) with no carryback (there is an exception with sec. 1256 contracts, ie futures, currencies, non equity options or dealer options with a 3yr carryback).

Corporations do have a 3 year net capital losscarryback (with limitations).
