am i correct that you see the judges as being a bit biased too? while trying to appear not to be biased of course?

Boies is a good lawyer, but he was hampered by the lack of a record and was stumped by the question on how to balance all the competing interests. Which surprises me because that is what the Court has to do, he should have been ready for it.

I was surprised at that too, basically the judge said "what should we do" and he answered " gee, it's really tough for you guys sitting up there, but its even tougher for me down here to figure out what to do"

Bush had a couple of lawyers and one of them I thought was good. He was succinct, direct and laid out his case, the others were weak.
