<<FL law allows for a hand count ONLY when there is fraud or machine failure. It does not allow for hand counting for close elections...>>

The machines didn't count many votes I guess this qualifies As the challenge is with regards to the time issue.

<<Mr. Baker rejected the hand count in FL because it leaves plenty of room for mischief... ... >>

No that is his excuse .....And apparently your's as well. His reason is clear it's because as it stands Bush is the winner.

<<the LAW is the LAW ... and all HAVE to abide by it... >>

Exactly and neither your or my interpretation carries any weight ! Only the Fla courts does.

Now that that has been settled and the market has closed .......I shall retire from this squabbling to the beach.

<<Now, to compare FL laws with TX laws, that Gov. Bush signed, is comparing apples to oranges... TX ballots are read by optical scanners, >>

Excuse me but I just found out that this ain't necessarily so. Each county does it's own thing in Texas ......CNN interviewed an election official from Texas. He said that not only do they use punch cards they some times do a manual count......BTW when asked do you count the dimples he said of course......

So let's not hear any more lame excuses for that hypocrite that you are supporting shall we.
