Hi Jan! These i-nets (eg yhoo, ebay, amzn) seem to be ripening into good shorting opportunities as the new economy goes out of fashion. Any thoughts on how to play AMZN? My thoughts are: 1/A Christmas run into the mid-thirties is possible if/when the election is sorted out. 2/After Christmas this 'turkey' is for the bears, <g> as a slowing economy leads to disappointing sales and it becomes obvious even to die hard believers that e-tailing isn't working out. 3/A PCLN-like demise awaits this stock sometime in 2001 as the problems Glenn and others have pointed out no longer can be covered up. I think I understand your point that the "players" will cover shorts quickly on a small profit, but that didn't save PCLN etc from a spectacular fall. 4/So many people hate this stock that shorting might be a little dangerous...25% of float short and 6 days to cover being the danger level IIRC?
