"To each his own"

That is part of the erosion of character in America. We cannot become a country of "to each his own." If so then why were we in Somalia, Bosnia, Kuwait, etc. I know someone will bring in the oil and political perspectives, yet my point is that we ARE responsible for each other. Why have welfare for short term needs? Why have food drives for the homeless or needy? I submit it is because people generally do care about the well being of others.

Amercians basically don't like someone else telling them what to do, which is why I'm a Republican and oppose overblown government. I work in health care and think I'm better qualified to determine who gets MY assistance, for free or discounted rates, than the government.

There is a measurement of normal and Homosexuality isn't in the channel. There is NO evidence supporting homosexuality as healthy and the "Gay agenda" is to normalize homogeneous sexuality. Anyone who does not "share" this view is labeled "intolerant" or "hateful." I'm not into carrying signs, and NEVER condone violence against a "gay" person; however, I will vote my opinion every time the opportunity arises. I will do so because I believe there are absolutes.

Do step off the fence.
