cahabaphil, I checked out waverider. I assume that you are talking about the LMS (Last Mile Solution) product. There are serious issues which lead me to believe that this product is being marketed as something that it isn't. As a last mile product it has serious security issues and being in an unlicensed frequencies, there is nothing to assure that the signal isn't stepped on by everything from microwaves to other devices operating in the same frequencies. Additionally, this is a shared medium which makes bandwidth guarantees almost impossible to deliver. Not saying that these products don't have their place, but it ain't in the last mile. On the competitive front, there are a number of products out there by other vendors that offer essentially the same features. One of these is Cisco (through the Aironet acquisition), I know where I would put my money in a competitive situation. IMO, BR
