Since the (democratic) AG can only issue an advisory opinion, I believe it is true. To have had any effect, he would have had to have expressed his opinion much earlier. To express it now would seem to be for public relations purposes only.

Well...it is true that it was an empty letter from Attorney General...damage control by the Dems...as to fighting it...I understood that an independent attorney was hand delivering a protest to the US Supreme Court on behalf of individual military personnel.

Anyone else have information?
