FWIW, the slide does say 1x Partners...... not 1x Licensees.

Perhaps they were sandbagging you about NOK.

Perhaps NOK's in the bag?

Do you think this is the same thing as she was referring to in the Oct 23 QCOM IR response?

"The current version uses Nokia's chip. However, we are working with Telson of South Korea on a Nokia model that will debut in early 2001, as announced by Nokia a few months ago."

If nothing else, IR's response is certainly not a denial NOK is signed up for 1X. I doubt they would let Irwin go in front of any public group with that slide unless it was accurate.

Now maybe "1X partners" is not the same as "1X licensees", but I think that's a pink elephant.
