I'm just tired of people getting so worked up about both sides. To think that the republicans are not doing the same thing as Democrats is silliness.

This isn't about the law and never has been. Its about
human decency and thinking of the country and its well being
rather than thinking of how one can find a loop hold to
win a few votes. The ball was in Gore's court to do the
decent thing, and spare the country. He did not.

Let's flip a coin and figure out which liar we're going to call president for the next 4 years.

By far, Bush is the better leader and far better a human
being. He was willing to let the recount decide the winner.
Gore chose to drag it out. For Gore to have more votes
than Bush, in the popular vote, is irrelevent at this point.
Gore's legacy could have been a shining moment of greatness
for him, if he had thought of the nation as a whole, and conceded. Instead, he is veiwed as a power hungry pig, with
no regard to the nation and its citizens. If Gore is
declared the winner, he will be the leader of an empty shell
of a country. Gore is in a lose-lose situation.
