Hi Ken, Well, this bear-market phase has to have some kind of a cause. The presidential election fiasco is certainly one of them. So are interest rates & energy prices. My point is this: macro-economic indicators are now driving the market down, not technical indicators. To the extent they are relevant to the movement of the equity markets, they are useful for discussion on this thread. However, I agree with you that there is no need for mindless political evangelism and personal bashing. We can save that for another day and a more worthy opponent (like M$FT).
