I believe its a reasonable assertion.

if you will recall, the level of anti-federal rhetoric
from the republican party was at a fever pitch,
and immediately stopped after the bombing.
there was an implied understanding of the effect it had.

its no different than hollywood putting out a
violent film, and some on the fringe copying the incidents.
it happens, and i think they should be held accountable.

I am on point. I saw the result of the overheated rhetoric of the 60's. First, some idiot students shouted "off the pigs." Then, some nutsos took that literally, and decided to kill a few policemEn.

When "leaders" use language that is inflammatory, they set unbalanced individuals into action.

Such "leaders" are just as responsible for the resulting violence as if they themselves pulled the trigger or planted the bomb.

Incitement is no more excusable when done by the late Abbie Hoffman or Bobby Seale than if done by George W. Bush or James Baker.
