I think it is simply amazing that we lost $1.5B in market capitalization yesterday over two men leaving the company.

The market is in a really crummy mood - I do not know what or when this will change. What I do know, is that I have owned this stock for almost 2 years and I am not selling it at these prices.

Not that I want Wilfy to do it - but, at this price (market cap of $6.xB) you have to wonder if LSI isn't attractive to INTC/MU/etc. to purchase for their manufacturing facilities and people (giving no value for their products).

Then again, how old is the CEO ...

Thanks for the detailed reply, Jock. I value your opinions very highly.

Btw, you said :

..."Within 18 months LSI will have about $3 Billion in cash.

Right now, LSI has about $1 billion in cash (per Yahoo profiles). So where is the remaining $2 billion coming from, during the next 18 months?

Please let us all know.

Thanks and regards.

Jock:

On Nov 22, 2000, you said :

"Indeed, it is very possible that Mr. LSI will see 40 within the next 4 months."

Do you continue to stick to this opinion? Please let me know. Thanks.
