Frank interesting food for thought, your obviously much deeper into the lay of the land, of the high bandwidth networking picture. I had a private message that raised the following, "Hi Shaw, for your sake, I hope Simon Cao is a bit more practical than Geor"- must be refering to George Gilder. My question is how realistic do you think Avanex's proposed all optical open system is? To me, the virtually unlimited bandwidth capacity aspect, and speed because of no bottle necks from routers and switches, makes the system so powerfull, that demand for such a system implimented, will supply the energy to get the job done. I have confidence as a layman in Cao, based on what he has accomplished so far. Thanks, Shaw
