Jim,

Bottom line here. When I saw that the FL SC frequently used the term, 'The Will of the People', as justification for assuming the power over both the legislative & executive branches I finally understood why Gore almost immediately spoke of, 'The Will of the People' on election eve.

Essentially it means that the Rule of Law is about to be sidestepped because we know better than you. Sorry but that is pretty scary. There is no balance of power among the three branches of government when you can ignore or rewrite the law under the guise of, 'The Will of the People.' That is usurping your powers. Ultimately, there are no laws, only ever changing dictums from those who hold the power to divine The Will of the People.

I have to be missing something in here, cuz if I'm not, I'm quite concerned.

Good morning Jim,

I'll be leaving for the deserts of Southern Utah shortly and will be back this weekend.

Well so much for my predictions of Democrat leanings, but fairness, from the court. They blew me out of the water. They talk about them protecting each vote but when asked to determine what constitutes a legal vote, Noooo, they cannot get involved with that, go ask the Democrats, they have the power to decide, and guess what, if you don't like their first answer, just wait until they see if they will have enough votes under these new rules, if not they will give you another fresh answer as they just found some new criteria so they don't leave out some poor smuck who just drooled on the ballot, but he drooled on Gore's chad so he truly wanted Gore as President and his rights must be protected. If you don't agree with that then they will send the military out to enforce those protections, (hehe, that way they can disqualify their votes while they are busy saving Democracy).

OK, I am ready to get out on those freeways and if I see any Democrats eating little peices of paper as I drive, remember, I'm from Idaho, we carry guns, all the time...

Have a great holiday everyone....
