It's not just Blodgett, and not just wacky highflyers. I saw a lecture by Tom Dorsey, the p & f guru, a couple of years ago, and part of his schtick is to put up charts of stocks that we all know and trade (msft, etc.) with analyst upgrades and downgrades marked on the charts. Predictably, they get upgraded throughout the downdtrends, and downgraded throughout the uptrends.

Don't you love the downgrade of JNPR yesterday after it's already had a 50% haircut?
