I was just taking a look at the votes on vote.com - 97% to 93% of the votes are against what's happening. I know the internet is skewed towards conservative/libertarian types but I've never seen results like that. During the impeachment they were splitting something like 70-30.

I don't want to mess with your patriotism, really I don't. But, to use a metaphor, I think America has broken some important trendlines in recent years and the long-term chart does not look good. Time to sell it short or at least get out. I am holding to my Bye Bye Avoid on America I issued a week and a half ago. -g

Understand that many of us fureigners see the country as the ultimate clown nation and, as we do for market clowns, we derive a little perverse pleasure at seeing the inevitable unfold.
