It's easy to offer to recount when you're behind. If this latest recount puts Gore ahead will he make the same offer again? If not, it was just a phony, self-serving proposal disguised as something magnanimous.

The recount offer was a joke. I mean come on. Under FL law such a recount would not have been proper. It could not be authorized.
