Dear RVM: I didnt want to say this as I dont want to be considered a demogogue but since you bring it up, its just possible we are witnessing the fall of democracy in the USA. I know, it SOUNDS prepostorous, even to me, but it happened to Greece, it happened to Rome it happened to Germany and Italy (in my lifetime) so why are we so different. What caused the fall in every case? I believe it was corruption and I would point out the fall wasnt something that took eons or even decades, it happened in a few short years. If Americans come to feel the election process is irrelevant, where does that lead to next? I dont know, I am not trying to start something here, I am just saying, in my opinion this is a lot more serious then I think many people realize. Already Politicians rank about on the same level as Used Car Salesmen, whats next? If Chaos develops what usually happens? Call in the Military to restore order, the very military that appears to have been disenfranchised? Hmmm. Wake up America. JDN
