Hi ex & Tim - I know Priceline was doing that. Maybe Verticalnet or Ventro also, but ARBA and CMRC are fairly clean, I think.

On a separate note, out of CHIR, MEDI and QLTI with only slight gain, but I ve reduced my margin by 15%, still too leveraged, but better, in light mkt tone is likely to be under pressure until next week!

I agree PPRO is one to avoid. ARBA, CMRC, FMKT are the ones in this space (this ignores some others like ITWO, TBIX, BVSN that are also solid companies).

I think the real risk from their business perspective is if companies invest and then scrap the effort so there is no transaction revenue. This is why I spent some time researching this. Companies are willing to pay the transaction fees since it cuts out a much larger cost (or at least two that I've had direct contact with). Time will tell how this pans out.
