Some Unscientific Experiments Find
That Chads Can Survive a Beating

By LEE GOMES
Staff Reporter of THE WALL STREET JOURNAL
<snip>

Worried Americans can probably relax. A battery of
admittedly unscientific tests, conducted by The Wall
Street Journal, indicates that these chads are actually
pretty tough. They aced the Drop Test, breezed through
the Fan Test and held their own through much, much
worse.

<snip>

Cat Test

The ballot was rubbed against a six-year old female
domestic shorthair house cat (Kuka). The test was
intended to last for 10 minutes but, because the cat
wouldn't cooperate, it lasted only 30 seconds. Dislodged
chads: 0.

Boiling Oil Test

Finally, the ballot was placed for 10 minutes in a frying
pan with an inch of vegetable oil that had been
pre-heated to boiling, then removed. (The ballot was
completely black when taken out.) Dislodged chads: One
(where it was accidentally pierced by the tine of a fork
during removal from frying pan).

The Demos have lost and lost and manual recounts
were not gaining enough to win( especially with Rep. absentees to be added back). In desperation they have now
locked out the Republican observers from the counting room
and started counting dimpled ballots as votes for Gore and
exposing the whole sinful charade to the public.
Win at all costs, including destruction of the whatever shreds of public trust now remaining in our election process. Sig
